To promote, encourage, facilitate and coordinate community, social recreational and educational activities beneficial to the residents of the Condominium Corporations within the Green Briar Community.

History

Green Briar is a well planned Life Style Community nestled along the Nottawasaga River Valley. The community consists of 497 homes (Single, Semi or Attached on Ravine, Golf Course, and Court Yard Lots). Green Briar units are Land Owned not Land Leased. Green Briar consists of 16 Condominium Corporations, each consisting of approximately 30 homes. Green Briar was first registered in 1987. The roads, the walkway, the water and the sewage treatment plant are all privately owned by the Greenbriar Residential Service Organization to which a significant portion of the monthly Condominium fee is allocated.

The Green Briar Community Centre was opened to the residents in 1991.

Adjacent to the Green Briar community is the Nottawasaga Resort with 45 holes of golf and a Sports & Leisure Dome offering fitness, aquatics, aerobics, tennis, racquetball, and squash. Newest to our community is the "Centre Ice Sportsplex"with two indoor rinks offering ice skating and hockey.
